What is the 500 rule in Farkle?
In Farkle, point sharing (AKA 500 rule) is when a player ends their turn without getting a farkle, and the next player can use the points the previous player earned to start their turn. Each player must roll 500 points in one turn to be able to use the previous players points. Each player only has to do this once. Think of it as a qualification procedure. This rule helps the game move faster as you can get more points each turn.
